With the newly endorsed Community Plan responding to climate change, we will support a growing population and enhance the wellbeing and prosperity of our community. About the roleThis is a key role in operating the centre on a day-to-day basis to ensure that all safety and hygiene criteria are met for the water and surrounds, and that the operation of plant and equipment meets water testing and treatment stands.   The position will maintain and develop relationships with the Centre’s customers, particularly community groups, providing excellent customer service.Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, the Senior Pool Attendant assists in leading casual staff, supervising water space and general operations with a safety-first attitude.  Successful applicants will: work a minimum of 24 hours per weekbe paid for 19 hours per weekhave 5 hours going to TOIL each week for payment over the winter closed period.work over a 7-day roster with a mixture of evening and early morning shifts as per operational requirements. Public Holiday work is also required.The above hours are a guide as at times these roles may work more during peak season and less during off-peak times.
